I am so excited for rainy days.
I am excited for rubber boots and splashing and thunder and lightning and THAT RAIN SMELL.

Swirly
I have to stop online shopping.
Look at what I bought. GIANT ridiculous lucite cabochons!
I think crazy-60s-Pucci-paisley patterns are coming back again this summer, and I’m going to make sterling silver adjustable rings out of these.
Wear them with your summer dresses!

sniffles
I am at home sick today. I must have caught a cold sometime yesterday because it feels as though several mid-sized sedans have backed over me consecutively.
All I’m doing today is resting and looking at recipes on FoodGawker.
I want to make these Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies by 6 Bittersweets. Click image for the recipe!

I would consider moving to Saskatchewan.
There’s a lot of great open sky, drastic weather, cheap churches to convert into houses, April is here, and adventures are always just around the corner.
I’m going home tomorrow.
I have tons of great jewelry designs in my head and hopefully a lot of supplies in my mailbox!

Love, Saskatchewan- part 2
We stayed at the White Fox Hotel last night because there is only one place to stay in Love and it had been booked up AGES ago. The White Fox Hotel was empty and cheap ($44 bucks for a double room) and we got the Pink room. The bathroom door didn’t really close and it [...]

The Track Van was huge and in the 10 minute ride we had they probably burned the amount of gas it took us to drive [...]

Millenium Falconry
One of my dreams when I was a girl was to live in a castle and be a falconer.
Did you know there is an Alberta Falconry Association?
In theory, I would love to answer, “What are you doing this weekend?” with “Oh, you know, just banding raptors.” but I would just want the falcons to be [...]

Better home
I’ve accumulating a lot of stuff since moving back to Edmonton 2 years ago.
It’s mostly thrifted clothes and random found furniture.
I missed the clothes swap a week ago, and now I’m sad because I have a ton of stuff I could have given!
I’m working on it though.
Ashley came by and got the red alley thrifted [...]

Diamond in the rough
Here are a bunch of raw, unbuffed, not ready yet silver buttons that I will soon be transforming.
Aren’t they pretty? Just wait until they’re done!
